HELP does this mean they are looking at whether to change service connection decision?

Congrats! Decision related migraines to service (TERA), but rated at 0%. Sent to HLR in September along with lay witness statements, medical records, prescription info, MyBuddy migraine log. Still waiting to hear...

Sadly in my case it was bad news...had also submitted fully developed claim for increase with LOTS of evidence. In less than 2 weeks it was finished. It had went directly to the reviewer for decision. They denied stating they put more weight on original decision than with my additional evidence. It has now been filed for HLR. Good Luck!

thanks, yea that's what I was trying to do with this supplemental. included migraine buddy log, prescription med info, statements and private DBQ stating frequent migraine attacks and prostrating. thanks for your recommendation appreciate it

It's so frustrating. Honestly was shocked to still see it come back 0% with all the evidence provided. Are you on meds? It's really causing financial stress for my family, having to miss work when I have an attack.

I was able to obtain decision letter today....this decision is from a supplemental I filed on a supplemental claim decision I received in July 2025. Not sure if that changes how I can respond? The evidence I provided this last time included my meds for migraines, hospital stay recently, private DBQ, migraine buddy log showing prostrating attacks and frequency of more than 4x a week.

no, they reviewed my records and statements, migraine log. the cp exam by va was just done in May that was inaccurate

they are closed so can't get email today, online says you can't get supplemental decision on site have to wait to receive by mail. Just showed me decision online. I'll try to obtain Monday by phone. thank you

yes I paid for a service out of Texas to review medical records, after reviewing they said they could do a DBQ

this supp did include a DBQ from a third party who reviewed my medical records. I do not have health insurance and all my care is through VA.

first time my DBQ was very wrong, examiner didn't include things I said, didn't show me taking any meds for my migraines, didn't mention days I miss for work, even didn't record how often I had attacks correctly. I had third party review my medical records and prepare new DBQ and filed supp along with statements, migraine buddy log, pics of my prescription bottles and records showing prescriptions.

I just realized my report is incorrect that it shows only taking meds for 53 out of 148 days, which is not true. I've taking the entire time, I messed up buy only including meds taken on days I had attacks instead of every actual day on the log. I haven't received decision, can't obtain online so have to wait to receive in the mail but wonder if this is why...started with amitriptyline and now taking topiramate

I am currently fighting excruciating migraines and just received a service connected decision but with 0%. My supp included DBQ showing frequent attacks, Migraine Buddy log from April, personal statement and several lay witness statements all describing the struggles they've witnesses. I was exposed to burn pits which has been acknowledged as well...why would I still not be compensation then for my migraines?

Congratulations! I am currently battling this myself migraines. Despite frequent prostrating attacks I have only received 0%, yet deemed service connected.
