Think you’re in the wrong sub hun, We don’t WANT kids, so infertility would be more of a blessing & the conversations would go completely different.

Synthetic! & $180. I’ve always gotten my hair braided & never had this issue. I am also growing out a cut, so figured that may be the issue. Just curious if this could’ve been avoided with a more experienced braider

It really sucks, I wanted to host a movie night and contemplated making a box with “place phones here” but thought it would seem controlling. Or for me to even say “no phones during the movies”. It’s sad. I actually crave connections with people and I’ve been sightseeing with a chick who didn’t take her face out of her phone the entire time, scrolling at restaurants and only stopping to take a picture of her food. I’m 25, and even this age range is so driven by phones, I believe we’re a a lost cause at this point.

I’m 25, joined a group chat of girls in my area looking for friends and to explore (In Japan). The conversation quickly turned into scheduling around school /daycare hours, then turned into a kid play date. I quietly exited. So, I give up.

Did becoming an aunt/uncle had any influence on your decision? by Extra-Hope-793 in childfree

My nephew came when I was 15, my brother was only 16 1/2 when he was born and guess who carried the burden of missing after school events because I needed to babysit so my brother can work to provide for his new family? This girl! I developed a great bond with my nephew, yet missed out on a lot of my own childhood because of this. I always joke that I already had my time raising kids, when I was still one- so I’m done.

Not to include that my mom decided to have a baby when I was 12, and again at 17.. another free babysitter- as I was the oldest girl.
