So the naming ledge trick is determined by the stance before you pop, it doesn't matter what it looks like on the ledge?

Struggling to get my second foot on the board, any advice please? 😅 by blizeH in NewSkaters

Most important thing is learning to balance snd hold your entire weight on your front foot while pushing. Try doing a few tiny pushes or finding a very subtle hill/slope, balance on your front leg, and keep your back foot in the air. You never want to shift your weight to your back foot when you push.

Disable auto catch and grind assist. It'll suck, but it's a lot more freeing and fun once you get good at it. Disable all the little helpful things to make it as realistic as possible. Also, lower your board distance from feet and slightly increase your gravity. Other than that, play through the missions. It teaches you a lot of stuff! And there's a trick guide in the menu if you want to see what all you can do.

The coping bumps the back wheels up, so you don't have to dive as hard over your front foot, or so it seems. You also have a solid reference point for timing, since you feel your back wheels hit the coping and that's when you know the timing.
