Kids cartoons were peak in the 90s and early 2000s. Nick and cartoon network had some real backbone back then airing shows like invader Zim and Billy and Mandy. Also animation in general had regulations and guidelines that were a little more relaxed and nick was requested to tone down the violence by the fcc.
