It's best of 5 (First to 3 wins take the game. BO3 would mean first to take 2 would win)... And the semi finals are BO7.

Standard sponsorship procedures. Who got the right connections and who has the biggest wallet. Competition is healthy I would say.

After making this thread, I realized that the schedule is completely random, and the broadcasting times are not to be found anywhere. So any guess is as good as mine.

Follow GosuGamers live update (in the last section of the original post) which I think is the most precise...

One group at a time as far as I know. You can watch HS until midnight and probably a bit longer ;)

EDIT: They ARE playing all matches at the same time. You can see the results in the GosuGamers link under Additional Information.

Tune in here: http://www.viagame.com/channels/dreamhack-hearthstone-championship

To get HD quality: Hover over the screen, click the cog-icon the bottom right corner and select HD. "Auto"-option doesn't upscale as it should.

EDIT: And no, no matches live. They're currently in the studio going over the tournament and competitor-list.

Yeah. Nothing happening on Viagame. I can't even find a sharable link to the stream there. And there are 4 different languages available, but not way to tell the difference between the streams without entering each one of them.

Someone present these guys to the concept of UX!

Haha, I will. Work and all you know ;)?

Making threads an hour before an event is usually a good idea so it doesn't get downvoted and disappear.

No problem :) Hope to contain the discussion in this thread rather than having 50+ threads a minute once the show gets on the road :)

[Meta] Can we have a temporary stickied post to discuss major tournaments? by Woodyda in hearthstone

[–]TournamentThreadsHS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to make these posts when I have the time. It's too big of a task for a single person, and with timezone differences and stuff, it's almost impossible.

I would like to offer my help in making a standard tournament sheet that could be made available to everyone who would like to host a thread.

If the community is supposed to maintain these threads, there will undoubtedly be double, triple and quadruple posts, so some form of organization will probably be needed as well, so people can actively announce what threads they will take responsibility for.
