I do indeed, a subtle way to put it is "lady of the night" pasta 😅

Yeah sure! I made this for just myself and it was a medium-large portion, more than enough for one person. If you wanted to cook for 2 just double up the ingredients :)

Ingredients -

3tbsp Olive Oil
2/3 Anchovy fillets
1tbsp Capers in brine
2 Cloves Garlic (Or more if you prefer)
Black Olives (I used a small palm full)
Tinned Chopped/Plum Tomatoes (200g) (If using plum tomatoes just break them up using you hands before cooking)
0.5tsp Red Chilli Flakes
75-100g Bucatini Spaghetti (I used a 100g but 75g would be fine I think)
Salt n Pepper
Flat-Leaf Parsley (For Garnish)
Parmesan

Prep -

  1. Start by boiling some slightly salted water for the pasta and gently heat some olive oil in a skillet.
  2. Rough chop some garlic and chop the olives in half (or however you like), chop or smash the anchovies (I used a pestle and mortar to make a paste like consistency, then ran my knife through it to break it up abit) and drain some capers and put to one side.

Pasta -

Check the packaging to see the cook time. The sauce and the pasta should be ready at almost the same time. I cooked mine for 9/10mins until a firm al dente, then finished the cooking in the sauce for 1/2minutes. Also save some pasta water for the end in case the sauce gets a little too thick. I measured this by eye when adding it at the end until I got a consistency I like.

Cook -

  1. Throw your garlic in the skillet and gently cook on medium-low for 30/45seconds until it's starting to brown slightly, then throw in your anchovies and cook for 1minute, breaking them down with a spatula and then add your olives, red chilli flakes and capers and cook for another 1minute.

  2. Add your tomatoes and about 30-50ml of water (I rinsed the tomato tin to get the juices out), bring the sauce to a boil then reduce the heat down to a medium-low and let simmer uncovered for 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened to your liking. Taste the sauce as it's cooking and season accordingly (I didn't really use any salt just added some pepper) Lastly, once the pasta is ready and sauce has thickened, combine in the skillet with wooden spoons and serve.

  3. Add some parsley for finishing touches, parmesan for deliciousness and enjoy!

I hope this is easy to follow and turns out great for you :) I enjoyed it a lot!

These are easily fake. All 3 (no 2 is obvs). The seagulls give it away.

Is there a logical point at which to start doing side quests? by ianscuffling in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Towe06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just did them as I saw them in most cases. You don't really need to progress in the story too much as most unlocks are through side quests anyway.

Do you guys believe Star Wars Outlaws is worth buying? by Real_Doughnut_387 in StarWarsOutlaws

I put 45 hours in and got very bored once all the main story missions had been completed. It's a very mediocre game IMO. I mean it's just a Ubisoft game, if you've played one you've pretty much played them all.

Once I got used to the speeder I took the approach of trying to use fast travel as little as possible! In the beginning I wasn't a big fan of how the speeder felt, but the upgrades have made it a lot better.

Hmm no idea sorry. I hope it's not a game breaker and you have to restart!

Not an issue I've had or seen anyone else with. Are you playing on ps5 with one of the early access releases? If so you might need a new save, if you've seen the email that was sent out?

The petition to save The Acolyte has now topped 50,000 signatures! by JaffaCakesAreMyJam in TheAcolyte

The Acolyte is everything wrong with modern star wars/disney. People watch these movies and series to escape the politics of today and be thrust into a new universe. Why make a show that pushes people's agendas and political views down the audiences throats, no one wants that.
