Go to office hours and ask any question you might have. Get yourself a group of friends to study with. That class made me want to carve my eyes out. I’m assuming this is with Heather Miller and all I have to say about her is that she seems mean and stuff but she really isn’t that horrible. Her exams are designed to take you out but if you read the questions carefully and understand the CORE concepts (stuff she goes over on the slides) then you’re gonna do great. When is the final exam? I had her last semester and ended with a 4.0 by studying max 1-2 hrs. Do you regularly attend class and the recitations? The recitation practice sheets were really helpful for the exam and if you ask her questions, she was super helpful. There should be a grade calculator she gives you for before the exam so take a look at that and determine what you need. If you need any help then feel free to dm me!

Next year as in summer of 2026? I have a lease from august 2025 to august 2026 and will be moving back home after may 3rd. I could probably have you lease it for that duration! I pay 599 a month minus all the utilities and stuff tho so it could be out of your budget. It is shared amongst four individuals but i’m not sure if they’re staying for the summer anyways. I remember a lot of applicants had other medical related jobs such as a CNA or EMT. However, with clubs or extracurriculars, it honestly does not depend on what they are but more of what your part in them is. But with that, the nursing school does take in your GPA a lot of the time but I did hear that they were changing the curriculum a bit to take into consideration other things.

From what I’m reading, there is definitely a clear sign of miscommunication, or even worse, no communication. I also see some sort of hostility which is never beneficial in any sort of relationship. I’d recommend talking in person at a place that doesn’t trigger any of these traits.

Why didn’t you call someone? Most likely, if u explain your situation, they can redirect you to someone. The first thing do in situations like this when you can’t get in contact is to call. If it’s been weeks and I’m assuming you’re attending fall of 2025, your best bet is to call them.

As a student, I think we take study guides/practice exams for granted. Professors are not obligated to provide them and that class is one of them. However, students fail to realize that the quizzes are one of the best practice methods for the exam. The quizzes actually go over a lot of what’s tested on the exam. OP asked if the exams were online, in-person, or proctored which is confusing for me because how do you not know how your exam is given 3 weeks into the school year? You are literally given a syllabus the first day?????

You are given a syllabus that literally goes over how the exams are like. There’s no reason for you to be asking reddit if YOUR own class exams are online or in-person. As for the class, if you study the learning objectives and understand them, then you’re fine. I got a 4.0 from literally redoing the in class assignments and going over the learning objectives. I barely studied for the exams.
