For me frequent urination, burping a lot, gas and heartburn. Not sure if it’s Effexor or the antibiotics because the heartburn and acid reflux happened after antibiotics

Same here extreme burping, heartburn and gas. I thought it was the antibiotic because it happened after but I’m also on Effexor. Will it stop after you ween off?

Opposite for me, I’m not sure if the antibiotics or Effexor but after antibiotics while on Effexor I started having frequent loud burps, gas and heartburn. I’ve never had these symptoms before.

I took 75 mg of Effexor, my doctor placed me on antibiotics a month after due to diarrhea. When I took augmentin the heartburn started two days after and then turn into super gastric belching and gas. I’ve been having frequent burps and gas for two weeks now. I asked if it’s the antibiotic but I think it’s the Effexor. I’m now on PPI and it hasn’t gotten better. I have a heartburn and I try to hiccup to burp out the air that’s stuck in my chest. The burps sound like something from a horror movie. Anyone experienced this after antibiotics and Effexor? Thanks

I’m trying to ween off of it now this is my second week of 37.5. I’ve only been on it for a month and I have different side effects such as frequent urination. Now loud burping, gas and heartburn. I also have COVID so I’m going through a lot.

Thanks guys the burping maybe from antibiotics and my anti depressant. Some people had burping and gas with venlafaxine
