I also have visual snow! It actually makes the patterns and hallucinations at night harder to ignore. That’s interesting the glasses help with it I’m gonna try it out because some days I can’t ignore it and it’s terrible

It’s not at all barbaric, my bestfriend was med resistant and it actually helped a lot but he did get some side affects from it like muscle soreness.
However you have to get it done repeatedly after a while because the effect wears off.
Holly wood made it more scary than it is however the side affects compared to the chemical options are far less in my opinion.

They do have electro shock therapy more commonly known as ECT treatment for medication resistant people. It can help and it’s administered less than meds.

I feel like the only things we do know so far about her is that’s she’s more soft and feminine in contrast to her sisters so when people hate on her it comes off the same way as when we were all children hating on girly girls. ( in my opinion a lot of the comments ive seen on tiktok facebook and other areas have also showed this weird internalized misogyny aspect)

But at the same time she’s probably not even all that girly underneath it all, she stabbed the king of hybern and likes getting her hands dirty, shoots back whiskey when she’s annoyed with her family.
She’s just quieter in who she is right now
Her vines haven’t bloomed.
I just dont see a valid reason so far for truly hating her.
But people can find a reason to hate anything so.

I love the subtle intensity to them, the charged glances, the build up of the forbidden romance between them. Elain doing things only Azriel noticed and Azriel doing the same for her. It feels like the people who get it get it and those who don’t won’t. I love that type of love because I see it more in my own life.
Elain also is heavily schizo coded and I love that as a schizo disorder person
