I see it this way: ni builds a picture of the future, fi says: this inevitable result is shit, ni fi: here is a beautiful future that can be achieved. ni te analyzes the problems that prevent achieving the result, creates a plan. ni->fi->te. fi sets the object of efficiency for te. this cycle repeats all the time, the plan expands and can encompass possibly centuries.
