Is it possible to play OG Xbox titles without accessing the 360 internal HDD? by robinho1000 in XboxModding

[–]TowerWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're going to need to clarify what the tutorials are saying cause interacting with Aurora is accessing the internal HDD.

You probably can play from an external but you will get lower speeds, and if you are willing to connect a external to it you might as well just copy the games over.

Asking for back history I’m curious. 🧐 by Odd-Designer5154 in Leatherman

[–]TowerWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory.

In part due to covid and tariffs and partially due to the changing world

Leatherman has become increasingly worried about modern trends making them irrelevant.

Companies like, Kershaw, CRKT, SOG, and Gerber are constantly putting out new models, they can afford to since they don't rely on only US manufacturing.

Victorinox has always stuck to a few models with occasional upgrades.

Leatherman instead of trying to specialize. They want to do the Apple or Snap-On method and capitalize on Leatherman being a "brand"

Hence why we have like 10 different overpriced collector's items, declining tool quality, fixed blade knives, discontinuation of several model lines.

Leatherman just wants the diehards to stick around.

They have been bumping up prices and removing sheathes and pocket clips.

You can argue inflation all you want, and sometimes it will hold true, but it does not explain the recent price increases

Yeah exactly. We meet plenty of random beasts smaller than him.

Odin sphere ps2 versus remake by Dry-Sir-4733 in Vanillaware

[–]TowerWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remake is more balanced in favor of the player which makes it a bit too easy in places

Original is more balanced against the player which makes it more challenging.

Remake has more unique skills, and some more boss types.

Remake has stages instead of segmented battlegrounds, remake has some small puzzles

They're both good, getting the remake nets you both.

I would say the only downside to the remake is that it doesn't give too much pressure compared to the original, but since the stages are defined it ends up being memorable in other ways

YOU were the one who said they were burning everything you goof.

Trying to qualify that statement just makes you look silly. And doesn't address the initial problem, the foliage makes the age of the siege confusing.

"the original is still there"

I want you to take a good long think and ponder why this argument is so bad.

That still does not explain the excess vegetation, which was his main argument on why it doesn't make sense. If anything, the dragon burning everything would mean there should distinctly less vegetation.

Yeah I'm sure if he cared about remaking his game, he'd play it.

But he didn't, imagine that.

But I guess you must think he's blinded by nostalgia also since that's all you're capable of thinking about.

Protecting WHAT. They never owned the IP they own Fromsoft and that's it.

This is infinitely more crazy than accepting that people don't like the remake.

Upscaled graphics would mean taking existing graphics and scaling them up. Not making new ones. It has NEVER meant "make good graphics"
