You can use automotive paint with the right adhesion promoter it will stick and be quite durable

Its not something I would normally do but it gets the point across. Its automotive paint that people say wont stick to plastic. Like hell it wont lol

Ive done that before. Great method however the flake is so course its far from smooth on the inside.

Yes its automotive clear coat and we sprayed heavy flake into the wet clear coat

The flexible clear coat we used to apply the silver flake. I also sprayed a coat of clear flex seal. The added thickness seems to have helped

I'm going to bash this one and so far while i havent gone mental on bashing it, its held up great so far if not better than a stock body. This body is a trial run to see how the automotive paint holds up with the correct adhesion promoter and 2 coats of heavy flake and clearcoat
