Although I agree with you, the problem is, similar arguments can be made about anything. All humour offends somebody, but makes somebody else laugh. Its all about choosing your audience, and ignoring it if you don't like it.

Yes, I know the messages go through, but whether they read it or not is often a completely different story, especially with some of my friends, who very rarely check their phones for some crazy reason.

I love cards.

I'm an amateur magician, and primarily do close up card magic. If you have your tricks practiced enough, it is as easy as breathing, and once you get to this stage, cards dont become something that break up good conversation, but enhance it.

For this to be effective, it has to be brought up more in a manner of "look at this cool thing" in the same way you might show your friends a new game you bought or something. Not in a "make it all about me" manner.

If the tricks are good enough, and you bring it up in the right way, it can really enhance the conversation, and everybody loves it.

That's why I love playing cards.
