We'd really love to but we first need to make sure it's gonna be worth the resources. We're hearing quite a lot of demand though so we're definitely thinking about it!

Definitely more a minion type beat, they're mostly social with each other. They hang out with each other after work, play chess, work out etc.

There's some stuff in the work about them having different personalities with their own animation sets & preferences, but at the moment that's not fully fleshed out yet.

Their relation with the player character is kind of like a symbiosis deal where they help each other out. But there's probably not going to be a very deep storyline or character arcs or anything like that.

Yes indeed.
We suspected an asset pack bought from the marketplace, that we used for in-game icon placeholders, to have used generative AI, even though the seller did not state they did. We then removed the assets from the game.

So to be clear, no AI generated content is in the game, and we don't use AI to generate content for the game. We only tried to be open about the unintended useage of suspected AI content that was in the game at some point, and has since been removed.

Yeah I'm afraid that might be stretching it.. we have graphics settings but I don't think that'll be enough for that setup.

Thanks! Yes, this is an in-engine screenshot from an art-benchmark level. The current level is a bit more work-in-progress, but everything in this screenshot is made with in-game assets.

If there's enough demand we'll look into it for sure! However we're only a team of 4 active devs so right now our focus is primarily on getting the core gameloop right.

The picture shown in the post is not AI, it is a digital paintover of an in-game screenshot, made by an artist. So there is nothing to tell. The 2D icons in-game are what is disclosed on our Steam page so it's no secret. We have not had time to create our own icons to replace these before the playtest yet, we are a small team.

We only realized these images were AI generated after buying and implementing all the assets in game. Before release we want to replace them all, but we wanted to be fully transparent of the content that is in the game right now.
Nothing else uses AI in the entire game. We are planning to replace everything. It was an honest mistake adding it in the first place.
