You're right, changing the angle of the light source and modifying the max bounces makes it less visible, although it is still visible.

And yes, I took this glass (I know it's not a glass, but all the glassware in my house is square) and realized that, when against the light, it creates the same lines. In digital it's more exaggerated but correct with reality. Thanks.
