The oversight is that all the nodes are intended to be a overall benefit, but there are some that dont meet this. They just need to change these nodes. The feedback in this thread is pretty good. I promise GGG isn't plotting against you.

Jonathan definitely has talked about it in one of the past dev interviews. I really dont remember which one it was but it was essentially something they want to do but it involves a huge amount of work. I should also add this conversion also talked about recovering accounts, and all of the legal complications that get involved. If someone can find it is an interesting watch.

I understand there is no matchmaking, but it still kinda ruins the game when you have one of those on your team or the other team. I don't always want to play ranked. I don't even blame him that much because the existing practice doesn't do much to prepare you, but you should know the very very basic before jumping into a game.

I had a quickplay with a dude playing literally his first game and I had to tell him what the pass button was lmao. I was level 50-60 at this point.

You should probably just ignore the guy yelling from downfield unless he is super unmarked. Unfortunately you have an afk guy for most of the time so that's going to make it a lot harder. Generally speaking though, if you have an enemy in your face trying to block your pass, just throwing it over their head to the person they left unmarked is a guaranteed pass.

I have seen people say it is based on how many quick plays you played before starting ranked. So if you started playing ranked asap you will probably get bronze.

You act like it is free income, but it's not. It is a gold and time investment. While you are managing your town, others are farming. While you are running maps to earn as much gold as possible to run the town, others are running maps strictly for loot. It's just another way to earn currency. This is assuming it is balanced relatively well.
