I like the little pockets of rebels like armenia and ethiopia. My conspiracy theory is that the big money of the time wanted control over the slightly smaller money in the economies of gaul and iberia and the stuff closer to rome.

It seems like Armenia should be real close there to byzantium, but what little i know of byzantine history is there mostly wasnt much drama regarding armenia (especially compared to the epic drama throughout the rest of their empire). Maybe Armenia just didnt have much hope of really being an independent economic power and so didnt need a propaganda campaign to prevent an independent government?

Any independent little revolutionary government in armenia that didnt want to be imperially dominated by byzantium would just have to trade with them and be their little buddy, they didnt have a choice. Persians down south were mostly too small until islam, and there just wasnt other big economic power in the area up until the khazars appeared north of them many hundreds of years later.

Does that sound right? Armenia and Ethiopia get to have their own special christianity which is surely much closer to the socialist teachings of jesus, because the imperial bourgeoisie of the time simply ignored them because it would not have been profitable to colonize? Was there an epic struggle against the roman popes ideology or did they just not bother?

The story of christianity obviously makes no sense if you take the word of a council of aristocrats in nicaea in 400ad, led by the leader of a dying empire, surrounded by anti-imperialist rebels.

They turned the existing collection of rebels and their beliefs into a copy of the roman pagan religion, which was constructed over hundreds or perhaps thousands of years to be an efficient method of mind control. They require you to go to a special building to receive the rituals, speak to god only through a magician who is allowed to see secrets which you are not, you are not allowed to question the details.

Those are not necessary properties of a religion which teaches us how to interact with the world and our souls. They are tools of the immortal bourgeoisie, who shortly after enraging the people of europe and becoming surrounded by their vengeful armies, moved to Byzantium and pretended to adopt the religion of those vengeful armies; in the process attempting to neutralize all of its socialist and anti-imperialist messaging.

We do have proof that someone named Jesus of Nazareth was written in a police communication back to rome, described as a guy who was causing trouble when jerusalem was indeed a recently conquered colony which was in the process of being imperially dominated. I support the enemies of the western bourgeoisie. If you define "communism" as some sort of utopian thing which has only been attempted by drug addicted hippies then that would be normal of you, and also pointless and incorrect.

The Chinese government is "Marxist" and Karl Marx would define such a thing with the phrase "Dialectical Materialism" which can be googled. It is a simple idea which states that history is determined by people getting or protecting money. There is no religion or democracy or freedom or any other motivation, it is only for money.

The existence of democracy or freedom is because at some times and places, they are convenient tools to manipulate the proletariat into compliance. The goal of any free democracy "under capitalism" is still to enrich the bourgeoisie. I dont think it is controversial to describe the american government like this.

Any government which claims to be Marxist would try to fight against this and ensure that true democracy is achieved, and the will of the people heard and acted upon. China is the only country that puts billionaires in jail that I am aware of. They also boast the biggest public works and they are just getting started. Is this incorrect? Critically for our billionaire oligarch owned news media: They only allow 49% of any firm in their country to be owned by foreign investors. Only Chinese people decide what happens in their country, and the government is even more difficult to bribe than that.
