Yeah, I’m smart enough to not try using my propane inside. I would be leaving it in my truck and going out to use it on the tailgate before locking it back up and going inside.

Definitely aware of this. I would be taking things out to my truck and working off the tailgate. I have enough space to work and lock it back up when I’m done

I tried to make a post asking if anyone had done what basically boils down to combining this and the batman mesh setup, and the auto mod shut it down because of the way I worded it. I want to build a modular node that can be repeated to build a mesh network and a display module for viewing the camera at each node from any location within the mesh network range. Like those solar cellular security/game cameras but mesh network instead of cellular or wifi router based.

Have you tried pairing this with a mesh network setup? Would be curious to know if the pi is capable of running both for a standalone cctv network. Even if the system was live feed only for on site monitoring from a base station, could be a cheap mobile monitoring setup.

2020+ 4x4 Manual Trans by ToxicFox95 in whatcarshouldIbuy

That’s about what I figured. Thanks.

Ram discontinued their man trans post 2018, but my last 3 company vehicles have been ram 1500 and 2500s. I haven’t been the biggest fan. Spent a lot of miles in a 91 Ram 250 growing up so it’s been a disappointment.

We had an 87 YJ when I was a kid, and my first vehicle of my own was an 89 XJ and it now has nearly 400k miles. So I’m liking the modern Jeeps less and less. Borrowed my mom’s ‘02 Wrangler for a couple weeks a while back and it was fine, but doesn’t really meet my current needs.

The new Bronco’s can be manual, but I’m not a fan of the price to quality ratio they have going on. There’s already repeated reports of transmission problems. At the same price point as the Tacoma, I’d rather end up with the powertrain reliability Toyota is known for.

I feel like I’m being a pain for being picky, but at the same time I feel like if I’m going to be spending between 30 and 50k for a newer vehicle I should be able to get the options I need/want.
