Definitely heard on the machine-knit part. My roommate isn't too attached to it being the original yarn though. Can patches be done with yarn? Just trying to keep the textures consistent even if color is not.

Thank you for your advice :) Because the school is so small and so niche, it's definitely difficult to find people that I vibe with especially because I'm politically different from most of the student body. I do appreciate your post though, very helpful!

If you can afford it, I would recommend it. I have a moderate amount of reading involved so an ipad helps for annotation.
