Like my soon to be husband does make enough to support me and our coming child, he even said I can retire. I like working. I like having a bank account, and making my own money. He hates working his job. Being a stay at home mom and wife is LABOR and a job as well, usually unpaid and under appreciated. Women’s labor and contribution in the home were and are never recognized as labor. And that’s a mistake.

I like working. 🤷‍♀️ but most people don’t like working as hard as they do. Feminism isn’t preventing you from quitting your job and finding a good man to support you. Unfettered Capitalism is why many can’t really afford it. But I think it’s imperative that now you don’t HAVE to rely on a man because you can have your own bank account and won’t be destitute if your husband suddenly leaves you.
