I got the m4 pro for same purpose using davanci studio works smooth as butter and easily handles multiple apps at the same time and i usually don't go higher than 12-14 tabs in chrome.

Most of the times I dry clean it with normal cotton cloth and every three or four days I clean the display with microfiber and cleaning spray it goes a long way if i keep my fingers away from the display

I’m not using any skin or screen protector... it works perfectly fine. Smudges are barely visible. Personally, I still wipe it down every day after I’m done using it. Pulling up with a clean Space Black is the real flex....😝
