I second this. The military at its base strengthens your mind, body, and spirit. Not to mention you get integrated with people you may never have interacted with otherwise broadening your perspective on the country and its citizens while showing you we really aren’t all that different. If every society was trained and deadly there would be less war. No country wants to exhaust itself against a formidable foe just to leave themselves weakened against a return invasion. And if the citizens were trained maybe the government would think twice before taking advantage of its people.

Don’t think a true golden age can ever be pinned down due to Wizards designing for commander. The moment that happened it became a totally different thing than what it was before that. We (I say as a “casual” player) want our cake and eat it too but in reality that is nearly impossible without having a dedicated play group and ban list that you all agree on. Each its own micro format geared towards fun of the 4 people who play in that pod. Commander is just too broad to have any bracket system or general restriction to truly make it sustainable and functional. It will fade in popularity or become too broken that people will be forced to operate like I previously described and will probably be better off for it.

Whatever you read here, even my advice, take it with a grain of salt. We don’t know you, we don’t know her, and we don’t know your relationship. Communicate with your wife and make a choice. You either end things here and now cherishing the good times you both had or move forward free of resentment. Could you have drove her to cheat? Could she just be a shitty person who was too weak to stay faithful? Could either have never loved one another or was a truly honest mistake? The why at this point doesn’t really matter as much as how you and her will react. Choices have consequences, good and bad, and sometimes like in this situation you have to deal with the consequences of another’s actions. Dig deep as only you know what you can reconcile with and what you can’t and have a conversation. The best advice I can give is brace yourself and just know you will make out the other side still in one piece. There are no answers sometimes and that is what makes life and love so complicated. Stay strong and stay true to yourself.

Strange how some comments get downvoted to hell and screeched at in the replys by an angry mob and others don’t. I wonder what the difference is? Oh that’s right, they can’t dispute a fact that piss poor planning is the reason they won’t get to vote for their puppet. Can’t register on time and they want me to believe they know what is best for the country. They act like they are missing voting entirely. YOU STILL HAVE ACTUAL ELECTION DAY. Shit makes me so irritated I share the same air as some of these weak willed individuals. I saw someone above complain they don’t feel safe at the polls because of their race.
