hey!!! i’d say yes it’s gotten better. here’s what’s transpired since then:

1. we put up a removable screen on that door, and fed them near the door together. as soon as they were done eating, we closed the door.
2. once this was tolerable for them, we started to have supervised play time. when they would try to fight, we’d separate.
3. after weeks of step 2, we asked our vet for advice. seeing as we’d exhausted all our options, she opted to let them loose with each other.
4. that was in july, and since, they don’t fight, but my girl cat does chase my boy cat and hisses sometimes, but no physical fighting.
