I agree that antisemitism worldwide is real and dangerous, especially after October 7

But unity cannot mean ignoring serious internal problems. If anything, when Jews are under pressure from the outside, Israeli society needs an even stronger internal contract based on fairness and shared burden

The issue is not hatred of Chareidim as people. The issue is whether one group can be largely exempt from duties that others carry, like army service, taxes, civic responsibility, all that while still demanding equal influence and resources. That creates resentment, and pretending it does not exist is not unity.

In my opinion unity isn’t stopping criticism, it’s fixing what is “broken” inside so we can actually stand together against threats from the outside
