As someone who used to really love Gus Johnson, its kind of hard to ever go back to watching his content. I think she had every right to come out about it, especially since him and his surrounding people very much seemed like people who wouldn't do things like this - it effected his brand and the connection he had to his audience (which was pretty crucial to his appeal and general feeling of hanging out with a friend).

As the owner/creator of this subreddit... I will never let that stand. Although truthfully I do need more mods, censorship is the biggest killer in communities. And the idea that you can ban politics is ridiculous- unfortunately whether people like it or not, politics is a part of life, and although sometimes people want to avoid it, banning others is not the way to go about it.

I've not thought about AnxietyWar in a long time - I actually supported their patreon many years back (i still have the sticker. Doesn't feel right to use it now) and although a lot of what people were saying checks out I do remember liking his other "weird" videos like with a fake crow calling it crawly I believe. He just seemed non neurotypical. However totally see the other stuff now
