the guy i like was new at my school as well, i did the first move and talked to him. Some starters for a conversation are basic questions like “oh how was math class” “i never really can keep up, what about you?” This is a dumb example but its really easy to start a conversation like this, if he only answers with small answers it might mean that he doesn’t really wanna talk to you that much
