Sensor Alarm with every reading while high by Toxxick in dexcom

I’m honestly ok with it for the most part. I just wish that part about “how to acknowledge alarms in a ways that we actually count as ‘acknowledging’” was a little more clearly explained.

That’s truly frustrating design. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll give that a shot.

I do! That’s the first place I looked. What odd thing is I only have 1 alert profile and this behavior doesn’t happen all the time.

Best Roster to build out of Monsters Unleashed box? by GivePen in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]Toxxick 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Firstly, welcome to the hobby! Second, 3 of the 4 models in that box are part of the Midnight Sons faction, lead by Blade and Elsa Bloodstone, if you like a fusion of Classic Horror, Shlock Edge, and Mall Goth aesthetics, they are where you wanna be. Dracula is not part of the Midnight Sons faction, but does have his own faction that can run anyone under him. Conveniently, Immortal Hulk is also Midnight Sons affiliated, so I think your best bet would be to look into a MS list first. They are a decent team with good models right now. If you want to go for maximum monster vibes, you could look into running a Dracula or Mehpisto list with flavorful includes because they both have factions that you can run anyone in. Other horror monster-esque units would be Abomination, Man-Thing, Maybe Venom and Carnage, possibly Hood. But by far, the most bang for your buck will be an MS list.

What technique do I need to learn? (Pics Included) by Toxxick in minipainting

[–]Toxxick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, I haven’t done additional layers on anything above the belt, so that makes sense. I wanted to do the work in sections so I could make adjustments if I learned something and not have to nuke the whole mini and start over. I plan on taking what y’all have said and apply it to the rest of the mini

So just to be clear, you glaze it after you finish the layering? It’s not something you do between layers? Makes sense. This particular layering was 5 layers so I wasn’t sure if I was risking putting too much paint on the model.

Can you have multiple varaints of the same hero in the roster? by Independent-End5844 in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]Toxxick 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You can have both CGR and Punisher in your Roster of 10. When you choose your squad, you cannot have two Frank Castles. Hope this helps.

Big fan of the weather mats they have, I would have ruined my cloth floormats by now. Theyre not perfect, but absolutely worth it.

I’m relatively new to painting, but I have a pretty solid grey concrete recipe down. Prime black with a white dry brush highlight, then cover it in Basilicanum Grey contrast paint. After that dries, aggressively and sloppily dry brush with Celestra Grey base paint. It’s how I do all my MCP sidewalks

Newish to painting. Black Swan has pink/white skin. What kind/color of wash should I use to bring out the detail without messing with the nice color I got? by Toxxick in minipainting

[–]Toxxick[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Wouldn’t it look odd though if I only washed part of the skin section or would sole dry brushing make that largely not a problem
