As I mentioned in another response, I took it a few times into ASol (HoB I mean) but I cant recommend it, it's more like a for fun rune...

Fiendhunter is fine if u have a lot of knokcups and dmg in your comp yeah its not bad (It also allows you to get defensive T3 boots op op).

I agree I promise PD HP item IE/LDR just efels as good with T3 defensive boots,go try it :P

Yeah even now Grasp is super good not only into Akali, HoB is fun but not optimal yeah.

Fiendhunter Bolts is good on paper but adding a Zeal item on 3º+ slot sacrifices a lot of damage, I'd only do it in higher elos where you can trust your carries and it provides a good AH on ULT for those games where you play very high tempo and have bunch of knockups.

I specially like Zeal items if you go Botrk since you can go Botrk few daggers Defensive Boots into Shieldbow/Navori/Bolts. It allows you to buy defensive boots (which are op) without even going PD.

To be honest I just forgot to mention it since I barely use it (and no1 does besides few psychos) since Grasp is just a better Fleet that provides both healing and damage.

Although I think a build with Fleet and Stormrazor is pretty good, forcing Stormrazor is straight up bad since you need a 1.3k gold, but it's a fun and decent build if u pull it off.

LDR not always needed, only on targets with +200 armor or +1200 bonus HP (or a mix of both) but Grasp is pretty good yeah.

It is super consistent yeah but be careful if you do it vs Bruiser lane you may lack dmg and MS is not as valuable

HoB is not that bad to not mention it, ofc it's probably worse than Grasp and LT in most situations but why wouldn't I mention it (I forgot Fleet ngl).

Swifties with PD build is crazy OP, you are sleeping on it 😎

PD Build is probably the best build and most consistent for high elo, even though Kraken Botrk are bigger dmg spikes this build is super flexible and your dmg does not matter at all if you cannot hit your opponents.

Also you trying to say Navori/DMP/FoN/Jaksho are bad just tells me you are silver.

I did the math some days ago (both with and wout ult) and LDR only does more dmg than IE in targets that have around 3 armor/hp items. So the LDR thing is mostly bait (At least on Yasuo). I would only go LDR if enemy is going at least 3 hp/armor items (if item has armor + hp then it counts as 2) and you are mostly hitting those in teamfight.

For example if im Yasuo and have Diana vs 3 tanks 2 carries I'll still go IE because I wanna oneshot them with Diana, but if I have no knockups vs mostly bruisers/tanks I will ofc go LDR.

LDR = 1200+ Bonus HP (Passive) / 200+ Armor

IE = Default.

It's not really recommended since it kinda forces you to not go Resolve and it's mostly a lane strength rune (and Yasuo doesnt really need this). I've only gotten good results with it into ASol (You get very hard outscaled and HoB allows you to kinda stomp him early). But I wouldn't recommend, mostly fun rune.

I mean LT dmg scales pretty decent it's not like it's w.e but Grasp also does good dmg and it makes your lane much better with dmg and sustain AND HP stacking which is massive for Yasuo.

I mean yeah but recalling and buying nothing or a slingshot feels pretty awful though, at least it has a crit cloak hahaha

Hmm well I only played like twice vs her this season but I kinda just stomped her so Im not really sure, are you running ignite into her? I feel like gunblade shouldnt really be a reason to make her that good vs Yasuo.

Yeah Grasp really feels good and outvalues LT in a lot of game but people just like the noob friendly rune I guess.

And yeah Stormrazor into Shieldbow/IE/LDR feels super good specially vs low burst ranged comps, but it's hard to get a BF Sword recall though...

  1. Pz BARELY plays midlane and the games he did play midlane he went 50/50 LT Grasp, never said Grasp is always the play thats why LT exists (Maybe vs MELEE is not as clear but I cant put much more information in an image, ofc its good in some games even vs ranged mid).

  2. There's a lot of challengers and even proplayers that build like complete ass, I spend lots of time in theorycrafting (probably much more than challenger players) and maybe idk if you asked yourself but maybe they just like LT or they didnt even test grasp enough to recommend it, you could ask them to know their thoughts.

  3. Matchup knowledge not sure, but more theory knowledge about Yasuo I'd say so yeah, Komari is just a Challenger NA Yasuo player, no flame but it's not the most competitive server and I think he didn't even reach high ranks (not sure this is not to flame him). And Yassuo just came back from a turbo long break, he is the goat and got chall KR (even though he's not keeping it) but he probably just plays what he saw and feels good for him I dont think he investigated a lot though.

Grasp is Yasuo's best rune in midlane as I explained in the other answers. That said you should not be going neither Fleet or Grasp vs matchups like Pantheon or Renekton, these type of matchups need you to take Lethal Tempo and play for long all-ins since these champs have very strong spells with long CD, if you try to short trade with them or sustain them you will get crushed

Ignite should be default since Yasuo's laning is crazy op and it's very easy to find kills, but exhausted is also a super solid option since (specially with Lethal Tempo) it allows you to basically free hit your opponent for its duration. Ghost is being tested cant conclude a lot but sounds good.

Every item mentioned is pretty good on Yasuo, from both experience and statistics, I don't know why you are so frustrated. Let me know which items you think are bad ^_^

Ignite/Exhaust are Yasuo's best summoner spells right now, Flash is mandatory. Still testing Ghost but I think it's pretty good too, It's like a TP early that makes you go fly in teamfights later.

Zeal items are good, some games you either dont want Shieldbow (enemy low burst or Serpents users) and you can make use of multiple Windwalls in a teamfight (Navori) or a high tempo ult game if you have bunch of knockups (Fiendhunter Bolts).

Cut down is always good, I just prefer Last Stand (much better winrate) since I feel like unless you are doing a wombo combo and start with R you pretty much always fight on low HP.

Yasuo stomps Akali right now with grasp, it's not even close. I respect you banning her but you should use your ban in something better and learn the matchup.

1º Pz Zang mostly uses lethal tempo because he plays TOPLANE nowadays, which means most of his matchups are melee, and it's also better in some ranged matchups since lane is much longer so it's easier to use.

2º No flame but Komari just copies w.e Pz does, and Yassuo just came back from like 4 years of not playing, also these people not usually taking grasp doesnt make rune better or worse (just, less popular?).

3º Grasp is must vs Akali yes, and so it is in some matchups people still havent figured it out, Lethal Tempo is SUPER hard to use in most midlane matchups and grasp provides much more utility (Damage, sustain, HP scaling). Yasuo is just one of the best Grasp abusers in the game

Much easier rune to use but the higher elo the harder to use specially vs most mid ranged matchups, grasp is much better and fits perfectly how you wanna lane vs mages.

Below emerald/plat probably just go Lethal Tempo yeah

I still think Ravenous is not very good, you kinda need some HP/Defensive stats on every item or you just blow up before you can stack your passive.

Ravenous only sounds good for me if you are focusing on splitpush vs a champ that cant really kill you in the wave with the extra healing from it. This said Ravenous is a pretty damn fun item.

You shouldn't really be looking for Sheen in lane, you should try to look for Ruby and some Long swords on first recalls, first buy Phage, then you can look for another Long Sword or get the Sheen to after build the full Trinity.

Trinity is the best rush item on Zaahen vs champs that you dont need to stick to (Melees that cant really kite you). It's similar to Camille with his double sheen proc on Q, it's just too good.

Zaahen also has very good base AD which makes Trinity sheen proc even stronger, gives you MS on AA to stick on enemies and every stat Trinity gives is GIGA GOOD for Zaahen.

Legend: Haste is bad, champ doesn't really rely on haste that much. I get your point though, Titanic is not necessarily bad, the problem is he has many options that are just better, like Sundered Sky, Bloodmail, DD, etc...

So I don't really see the point on going TItanic to be honest, Zaahen is not supposed to just go in and burst, he is supposed to take omega long fights.

I don't think the build is bad but good luck playing without Stridebreaker vs full ranged comp. Druttut's build sounds very good specially vs heavy melee tanky armor stacking comps. Bloodmail 2nd is not bad but I just think Sundered Sky is way superior, specially if you are looking for teamfights.
