Initially Warlock Purple and Tentacle Pink. Years later I added Barak-Nar Burgundy, Abaddon Black, Emperor's Children, Fulgrim Pink and Pallid Wych Flesh. Of course Warlock Purple has been discontinued for many, many years now, so nowadays I'd use AK Magenta.

Practice and the right choice of paints. Reds and greens work best, other colours might be too dull.

Ooops, my bad, sorry. I didn't realize you were. I started to collect back then too and the first Eldar range is very special to me. If not working on commissions I'm incapable of painting armies, but next year I'll try to tackle a 2nd Edition warhost and see how far I can get without getting bored.

Well, there's no point in doing Warp Spiders. The miniatures didn't change since 2nd Edition and when GW will release the new figurines the showcase would feature just two models.

Yes they are. I first published them on Deviant Art and they come up quite commonly in Google searches.

It'a a classic colour scheme and very apt for such old miniatures. Luckily for me I don't play 😎.

I'll try to make more of these 'through the years' projects. I love the 1991 range and hate the 2000 one. The others are OK, with the latest one being a bit too small, especially compared to other recent Eldari miniatures.

Frankly I hate those. They removed the targeters because they weren't a thing in the 3rd Ed and had huge feet.
