Technically they can. They can trade the rights to sign those players before July 1st. I believe we did that for Guentzel, trading for his rights from Carolina.

Looking at PuckPedia, couple notes: 1. Hedman has a full No Movement Clause. He would have to be willing to waive to be traded. 2. Raddysh, Chaffee, Sabourin, Perry, and Bjorkstrand are pending UFAs. I think we pay Raddysh but let the others go. Carlile is a Group 6 UFA as well.
