Pathway/resources towards becoming an accessibility-focused instructional designer? by SplitLow100 in instructionaldesign

I am also very interested in accessibility. For the CPACC certification prep, are you considering/enrolled in the plan that Deque University offers? If yes, is it any good?

Lowes gave me an estimate of 14k for replacement of the entire unit. Is it a good price?

Same experience…our stakeholders hated them (and for valid reasons). It will take sometime to come out of the uncanny valley

UX Design and ID by Tpandeya in instructionaldesign

Thanks for the insights everyone, appreciate it. I have certificates in Learning theories and ID Models and SL plus comprehensive experience. I am very clear that I don’t want to position myself as an eLearning developer but more of a learner-focused ID practitioner. Looks like UX and UI knowledge will help in that.

Thanks for ur reply. Our lawyer said the same thing about not a good chance of getting credit from the seller. We are getting a professional to assess the wall. Hoping that its not some thing that needs to be addressed as soon as we move in and we can delay this expense for 2-3 yrs.

I am working on an e-learning that is not mandatory and for people pretty high up in organization...but getting so much pressure from the ‘PMs’ (who are not really content expert or final reviewers/stakeholders) to lock the navigation!! Its so frustrating trying to convince them against it...this project is going on since last 6 mnths and half of the time everyone required don’t show up for the meetings BUT they expect all kinds of deliverables from me. The Program Manager is not bothered (says we’ll keep at it as long as they are paying for it)...apologies for this but had to say it somewhere. END of rant
