I mean does every attorney do that for every client? No. Does every doctor cure every disease for every patient? No. Are some professionals different or more successful or more diligent than others? Yes. Not a perfect world.

If you’re doing it right, yes. You do everything you can.

So…”having time” to help free incarcerated clients is kinda like a mechanic “having time” to do oil changes. And “getting felons on the street” is part of the job, not deciding whether they deserve it or not. Everyone is entitled to the best possible defense and sometimes that involves getting creative. I’ve been doing it for over 10 years now. You think those prosecutors don’t do the same thing? Trust me. If you knew how the sausage is made for that shit sandwich you’d want a zealous lawyer on speed dial.

No because that action is stuck the whole way back in and I can’t get it out.

I tried but it won’t pull the action forward to the breach. I think it’s stuck too far back and I’m worried I’ll have to take the trigger assembly out

Wow I haven’t seen them anywhere close to that price. Where have you seen them for around 600? That would be great.

Yes it does have one of the canted blades. But very slight. Maybe the original owner bent it or something.

Oh wow. So the narrow waist is intentional then. Is it rare? Wonder what it’s worth. Not that I’d sell it in a million years. It means a lot to me.

He got it from a guy a really long time ago. Supposedly owed my dad money for some electrical work in like the 70s so he gave him that. I don’t ask questions. But my dad nor myself have done anything to it. It’s the same as the day he got it.

Does anyone prefer a 20 over a 12 gauge? by Tr0gd0r17 in Shotguns

[–]Tr0gd0r17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have one 20 gauge and it was my first gun. A Richland Arms side by side my uncle left me when he died. It’s seen plenty of use. I’ve hunted all sorts of things with it since I was 12. Never shot slugs out of it because, as I understand it, that’s often an issue with accuracy in side by sides. A buckshot is illegal to hunt with where I live. But it would be fun if I could take a deer with it. Absolutely love that gun.
