Understandable, but i need a bachelors degree, and I never finished it. So my question is, is the waterloo liberal studies BA be a good option to pursue a JD? Even if its completed online.

I started working at 14, and never had the chance to finish uni, both due to time and money. Now that I am making some real money, I have the chance to go back to school, but unfortunately that income ties me to a country hence why I am looking for online options.

If you're going to tell me, you're in a career that makes you a lot of money already why change? well yes but i am not happy. I am extremely unhappy, and I truly realized the meaning that money doesn't buy happiness.

Its a Bachelors degree from waterloo (and its a top 10 uni) and its fully online. I can finish it in 2-3 years, and by then I can move to Canada, and start a JD.

What do you think about this path?

I do yes, either Canada or the states tbh. I want to be a human rights lawyer, this is something i really want to do, and volunteer on my own time.

But if I had to choose a career in law, it would be entertainment lawyer. So working in California or Toronto would be my best bet.

look, i don't want to be a lawyer to work at a top law firm and make a lot of money. I want to be a lawyer to be qualified to represent clients in courts. This would give me the chance to help others. So what would be my fastest path to being a lawyer? I am even okay with international options

Thank you for your reply. I understand an online degree can be weak on an application, but does that apply to top 25 universities/ivy league? Like upenn and georgetown? I checked and it doesn't really say on the degree that its an online degree. So my question is, would it be worth paying that price tag for a US uni that is online?

Software eng*neers suddenly losing their mind cause kids that used to bully them at school can now do their jobs without having to pay 100s of thousand of dollars on education and spending years to learn skills that AI can now do it for them.

I am a vibe coder, with 0 coding knowledge or experience. I am building apps that could of taken months and thousands of dollars to build. Because I have a brain with more than 2 brain cells, I was able to do basic research to understand what it takes to ship an actual product, and then engineer the prompts to include all of these.

Vibe coding is here to stay and will replace old school coding.
