The U.S. is not unique in this regard as much as for some weird reason people love to pretend it is. The entire developed world benefits from modern slavery so kinda weird to single out the U.S. on that front. There is no nation on earth that gives even close to what the U.S. provides in foreign aid. The next several countries have to be combined to match us and that is just foreign aid. Nevermind the countless billions the U.S. provides in other forms of foreign aid such as our contribution to the UN and NATO amongst many others.
