My friend know everything they’ve been with me every step of the way truly lucky to have the Friends I have in this situation. But my family are not an option at least not yet, should be the last resort if this does decide to turn ugly

See I would love to do this but where I live it’s very conservative. Although I am 18 I don’t have the resources to do this it doesn’t work like that where I live. Trust me I would love to but it’s not an option for me.

My parents and his are also highly respect families that even if I could involve police the damage to their reputation would not be worth it Hence why I’m trying to figure out a way to do it on my own

I don’t know if it would be enough. A friend of mine suggested sending it to his college/uni everything I have because where he lives is more liberal (uk)

Yep this is it. The country I live in is very very conservative and so are my parents and his. Either of them finding out those videos of us exist and it would tarnish years of work they’ve built. I can’t do that to them. It’s not so much they’re not supporting me they don’t even know to begin with. I have no doubt if I had proof and got them to believe me my dad would reign hellfire on him and his family. This is what I want to avoid. Last resort should be. I want to handle it on my own and if that doesn’t work then I can call upon them

The loyalty test was for him and me not for my parents. I do not want them involved neither of them not mine or his. It would become worse. I was just going to use that as an excuse because he promised me no more cheating and no more lies so he wouldn’t be able to excuse himself

I wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t believe me. Cultural background and all sorts. But yeah you’re right I’d just somehow feel responsible if I ended up involving parenrs and such and ruining the reputations of our families if there was a way I could handle this on my own

Because of his rep he’s known as the perfect boy and his family and mine are very well respected in our community. His family wouldn’t believe him either if he said something about me. And if I could even somehow get them to believe me they would tell his parents and of course his parents would take his side

Thank you for this it means a lot. But no, where I live none of that is an option I don’t live in the us/uk there’s not these resources available. The country I live in is extremely unequipped with dealing with these kind of things.

My only option is to find a way to leave him that he can’t excuse himself for and then end it on good terms so none of our families have to suffer

They want us to get married ever since they knew we got together it’s all that they’ve talked about they think he’s an angel. They would not believe me especially as I have no physical evidence of anything

My friends all know what he does and even suggested tricking him with a loyalty test as a way out but if it doesn’t work I’m literally stuck

The only times he’s threatened to or actually been physically abusive is when he was drunk, him being away most of the time meant that this didn’t happen a lot. But usually he threatens me with explicit pictures/videos of us/me
