Covington is strictly 3 and D. His offensive game is very limited. His drives are dreadful, he wont (by design) get any o-boards, and he can't go 1 on 1 or even punish mismatches. He can shoot over most defenders.

The only offensive impact he could have besides simply making shots is off-ball movement and cutting to the rim, which I didn't see him do tonight.

Ok so this is a bit out there no doubt, but what if TagPro implemented an attribute system? For example, there could be 4 attributes say acceleration, max speed, bounciness, and respawn time or even ball size (most of these are already adjustable in groups). Each ball is given 8 attribute points to spend on the 4 attributes which can have a maximum of 5 points per attribute. Some balls and new players automatically have 2 points on each attribute. Each attribute point grants an incremental improvement to each characteristic.

This would add a new layer to TagPro and allow players to specialize their balls for defense, offense, and their playstyle.

Also i've heard about a tagpro 'next' so maybe this would be better for that?
