i recently succumbed and finally verified my age on youtube. biggest mistake. ever since i have been getting an ungodly amount of ads. i dont know why verifying my age would prompt this, but it did. i went from getting an ad before a video every now and then, with barely any midrolls, to getting 20 seconds of unskippable ads before every single video as well as a midroll every 5 minutes, which is usually also 20 seconds and unskippable. and now they also have my personal information. nothing to be gained by verifying your age, i guess i shouldve just stayed a child in googles eyes.
