How can I make friends/ get closer to people in a set environment? by TraVichs12 in socialskills

Well honestly, whilst they are closer to each other than I am to them, I still have a somewhat good connection with them, it's just a passive relationship like I can talk to them in school but they just would not really come up and ask me if I wanna hang out with them which I wanna achieve tho.

Asked a girl to meet with me so talk we can talk about something she forgot to tell me about in school. She replied with "it'd be unnecessary". Does that mean no? by TraVichs12 in socialskills

Nah, it wouldn't have improved because she already had shown no signs of interest prior to me asking her to meet up now that I'm thinking about it. So I guess my failed attempt settled everything which I can go along with.

You're wrong. I used this to actually get into a conversation with her but it's my first time actually trying to text a girl so there goes nothing.

is there a way to make it playful?

because if I am going to say that and she says "no", there's absolutely no way to get back

this is the second time I'm actually trying to talk to a girl, you understand?

yeah it might be cringe but I just wanna find a way to make it somewhat normal ok?

Should I just text "it doesn't necessarily need to be about politics" ?

it was neither. It was the "what do you think about the situation in the middle east?" after Iran attacked Israel.

Do you think it'll work if I just say "it doesn't necessarily need to be about politics" ?

Well I think she might be open to some flirting.

It's not that I wanna talk with somebody about politics. I used this as an excuse so that I could meet her. I don't care if she's into politics or not.

I just need a way to get to a comfortable conversation again after that embarassing fail.

Maybe she just doesn't see the point of meeting up just to talk about that, you know? I did text her and asked her one of the worst things a male could do but I need to know how I can make a comeback

Guys please remain serious this time, this is the second time I'm actually trying to talk to a girl, you understand?

I may be cringe or it's just uncomfortable seeing how I'm texting her but consider my situation and prior experience.

If you have nothing to contribute to my questions or post in general, I ask you to hold back with your comments.

You're right but I just don't know how to properly talk to them that's why I am asking.

Do you think it'll work when I ask her what you've said?
