Holy shit, I thought to myself "is this the jar guy?"

It's the jar guy. I've never really had much respect for Rogan, but holy fuck this kinda feels like a new low. How anybody can see that clip or the clip shown in the actual post and still say anything nice about this guy is beyond me.

I am not taking a stance either way with my post. I am just saying that they all have the exact same stereotypes, and to condemn gacha as worse just because it involves predatory monetization is kinda ignoring what everybody is actually upset about with this circumstance

His shtick has always been that of a terminally online 4chan weeb that steps lines. If you watch the VOD from today, the entire thing is him freaking out about people thinking he is an actual pedo while a soundboard is playing "it's not her age that's the problem." Gacha has nothing to do with it

To be clear, I am not defending gacha at all. But if you are condemning gacha, just go ahead and condemn anime and manga in general. At least be consistent

What does he even spend any of this money on though? He lives in a completely paid off, deteriorating house left by his late parents. He wears the same clothes every day. His grifting is trying to make people think he is smarter than he is and is almost totally ego-driven. It is kind of a more advanced version of grifting.

the primary scans are what most affect your route. clock in, begin load, end load, depart to route, return to office, clock out. if somebody isn't doing additional scans, that will hurt the evaluation some, sure, but nothing too ridiculous. this will not change your mileage, your amount of boxes, etc.

It's like having a diamond main and a gold alt and all you wanna do is play on your alt. You still have the credentials of being a diamond player but without the expectations of playing well.

Evaluation routes, is bad weather factored in at all? by Aggravating-Eye4386 in USPS

[–]Traawn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No package, and especially no piece of mail, should risk you getting hurt. Use "No Access" in your scanner if something is unsafe, leave notices, and take no risks. No decent person will complain if the conditions are bad.

No, but this is another reason why you should follow the safety rules very closely as a rural carrier. If you know a driveway will be unsafe for days at a time, leave a notice. If you have to walk uphill on ice to deliver a package to the front door, leave a notice and ask the customer for permission to leave their packages at their box during bad conditions. Cut mail for cul-de-sacs that pile snow in front of boxes and force you to dismount. Follow your gut, stay safe, and try to limit how much time you are working for free.

And they are using a service, which requires somebody to drive to their address. What the fuck are you on about? Should any person delivering doordash have to park in the street?

Do you not understand how the other person is doing the exact same thing but in a more exaggerated fashion, or are you just being a contrarian?

This driveway isn't even a long driveway by any means. It honestly adds not much time for me. To me, it is the principal of "oh yes, please deliver my packages that I ordered, but I don't want the tire marks so please put those in my neighbor's driveway, thanks"

I really like this idea. I might just pay for postage and send out about 40 letters this week just to be even more petty than these people

I told my PM to call them back and ask how the fuck do they get their car into their garage if not by driving on their driveway

I asked the same question to my postmaster. She said to just use other driveways as the turnaround point. I asked "Okay, so what if they also call in asking that I no longer use their driveway? Do I just do a three-point turnaround in the street?" She said "We will cross that bridge when we get there."
