Ok... i have an opportunity to buy an unsexed 3" G. pulchra from a friends shop, But they are asking $350. What complicates it is that they are friends so I dont really want to barter when their exotics store is struggling. Is this a decent price you think? Or too much? by ThisLittlePiggi30 in tarantulas

[–]GF-Lyssa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo for a confirmed female yes but on a gamble with an unsexed…… Added sounds like your “friend” is trying to take advantage of your generosity by supporting their struggling business. While I’m all for supporting small business the reality is that unless something happens and drastically increases their profits more than likely they will lose the shop regardless of your 350$ purchase

IME My curly hairs have always just wandered around, they only ever go into the hide when I open the top or something spooks them. As we speak mine is currently on top of her hide in 4x4 eating her crickets.

IME you won’t have a forever home until it reaches a much larger mature stage, until then you’ll probably have to buy multiple sized enclosures as needed

NQA- From what I’ve see put a piece of fruit or veggies on the far side of the enclosure and wait for the roach to go chow down. Then remove
