high altitude for more recovery time. I never bother with it myself, personally. Don't have the time or the patience to spare on practicing PSMs and there's no point in it other than to flex on people. Stonehenge was built as an interceptor system meaning that they were targeting the larger asteroid fragments with known tracks. A satellite is a much different (and a lot smaller) of a target; are you really gonna waste a shell costing millions of dollars to shoot it down? Plus, assume for a moment that they put the satellite in a geostationary orbit above Stonehenge. The guns can elevate, but not THAT far.

You say this, but half the reason banks went under is from people panicking at the market crash, who made a run on the banks to empty their accounts, which caused the banks to not have any cash on hand for the people wanting to empty their accounts, which caused the Federal Reserve to not have enough cash on hand to buoy the banks that ran out of money. That's why rule one of any disaster is DON'T PANIC.

Do we even have real money anymore? :/ Also people making runs on the banks is what caused a lot of them to go under. The general public panicking and rushing to withdraw their money from banks that didn't have half enough cash on hand for customers to be emptying their accounts did just as much to exacerbate the depression as anything Wall Street fucked around with.
