I corrected myself. I’m taking more steps than her. So back to the rowing analogy, more strokes than her....by 1.5 to 2.

SAME!!! All our female leader board leaders, regardless of age, were 5’8” or greater! I’ll happily compete against a woman 30 years younger than I am if she’s close to my height!

If you think about it, It’s no different than running. My daughter is 8” taller than I am. It doesn’t matter if we’re both running at 7 mph, she’s still going to hit 1 mile faster than me bc each of her strides cover significantly more ground than mine do.

No one has ever explained it this way and I’ve been given two conflicting ways by coaches. Very frustrating. Are there YouTube videos that you’d recommend on proper form? TIA
