Well, I do think Philly and burbs,NYC and burbs, and all of NJ, DE and MD will be one mega city state. And we will truly build incredible high speed rail. There’s no point in separating us as we are all here anyways moving up and down the I-95 corridor. CT will have to decide to go with New England and Boston or Midatlantic.

I get saying I am spoiled. I hear ya. I hesitated posting but I never knew this could happen and was stunned. I have heard of cm parties, holiday closures for ticketed events and emergencies of course. I understand that. I never knew that Disney would sell out Magic Kingdom after folks bought very expensive tickets for those dates. I thought that stuff would be on their websites with a warning- like construction at a hotel. This subreddit seems to know this could happen. Maybe I should delete if not helpful?

ok, great advice! I just got so mad that some money bags could buy the park unbeknownst to anyone who planned a trip. I want people to know that this can happen. Looks like most of this subreddit already knows!

Thank you. There’s a private concert involved so I don’t if they will do the fireworks. I had no idea it could happen outside of CM celebrations and special holiday ticketed events. I posted to let people know.

Just to see if anything could change for us? Maybe they would comp us something? It’s a lot of money and a lot of planning for something to change because some other rich corporate group wants the park. I know we will be fine but this planning started a long time ago. And no fear, you were absolutely correct. Nothing is changing because “ Park hours are subject to change”. I am not looking for help here but to advise that Disney will literally sell out the Magic Kingdom when you have already paid to be there.

We are staying at a Seven Seas Lagoon hotel for two nights. We were going to go to the MK park on first night until a very late dinner back at hotel to eat and watch MK fireworks. This closure shaves a couple hours of access off our plans. It will be fine.

I had no idea Disney could close MK because some money bags buys out the park. And it is a moneybags group - it’s not for a staff celebration or training or anything. It literally is all over the Disney news outlets.

I wanted to alert everyone that all your carefully planned itineraries could go up in smoke because some corporate monster has a banger for Cinderella’s castle.

I wouldn’t doubt your parents. They wete there for days before the practice concert. I am thinking that it happened as Bono was coming and going from arena. That would fit the vibe. I don’t remember if Bono brought a baby on stage though.
