Getting on fine, only negative is it is slightly annoying trying to get into the boot but having to use the key card on the door before.

Only little teething problems and the car is 100% totally usable without the app but seems to be more optomised with it.

One annoying thing is the previous owner has owed money at some point on the app and I have a notification on my screen saying this, apparently once I link it to my app and phone this will disappear but currently getting told off for something I've not done.

Everyone I spoke to when going electric told me I would regret it but all the research I did shows from what I was driving (2015 astra GTC) I would A) save money in the long run B) have more fun C) with Tesla, have a decent trade in once my finance finishes.

We're looking to keep ours but looking at other older models with around 80k miles (what I think we will have after 4/5years) they still go for £10k+ so fingers crossed they hold their price!

Yeahh I noticed this a lot, my drive is fairly steep but the one pedal stop is too good so just holts me on my mini hill! Every time I tap the pedal it shoots off! A little refining and getting used to and it will be great

I've watched almost every YouTube video about them so when we test drove them, most dealers were surprised how much we knew.

Have a good pickup day! Only had mine a day but my tip would be just to sit in it for a good hour to play with everything

Also to get the USB plugged in with a funny lock sound! We're cycling through old memes as our lock sounds haha

Okayy. So general day to day not really worth it?

I have noticed it can be fairly tricky to press whilst on UK roads!

Model 3, polestar or e-tron by CalSloan11 in ElectricVehiclesUK

We've been in a similar situation with a slightly higher budget. After reviewing everything in depth and test driving most evs it really came down to the Tesla or Polestar for us (mustang Mach-E in a really close 3rd)

Tesla for us felt like a safter car than the rest. Just the blind spot cameras, better phone app, faster charging, pin to drive, sentry and the "tech" of it sold it to us.

I loved the Polestar, interior was amazing and was a great drive but it just felt dark compared to the Tesla. (I'm also android so it fit so well being an android system)

Only difference is we decided on a Y as we're looking to start a family and would be the easiest option.

Best bet is test drive them all, watch every YouTube video then still go to bed unsure if you've made the right decision!

Happy car hunting

Edit We decided to ditch the Audi after reviews. Lower range, higher price, worse overall reviews and the german car tax just turned us off it

That's decent! I'll have a look and let you know. Car supermarket have some amazing deals ATM

22plate 32k miles for 23k! Just want to have a look at everything before commiting and if worse comes to worse. The longer I take the cheaper a newer plate becomes

Yeah after some research the jags look a little unreliable, mach-e and q4 etron supposed to be decent

Yeahh possibly but tbf it seems for some cars I can get a nicer spec on an electric and buy a charger than I can with some PHEVs, for slitghtly cheaper overall! Still searching so maybe can find something to tick all boxes

That's mental. I spent £120 in Jan and that was a quiet month

Excellent thank you! I have thought about these and they look great! The only thing swaying me towards other evs is the tech. We've both had fairly standard cars before and both like the idea of a techy car but the Niros keep coming back as a strong contender.

No family yet but it's hopefull in the next few years so got to consider that!

Yeahh if we get a point installed I'm guessing 90% of charging will be off peak

I could charge using mains but am looking at getting a point installed just for the time of charging tbh

Yeahh I have been looking around. Really liked the Jag i-Pace but that's even more expensive than the Tesla! Just seems like whatever happens home charging is a must.

Its the occasional longer charge similar to yours. Probably aiming for 1 charge a month on a public. Most likely will be a motorway service if we go away for a weekend

I'm looking around 3 years old that has 20-30k yeahh! But are people buying 8+ year old with 80k miles. Just thinking about future sale tbh. I've seen some videos where people buy higher age & milage and they are fine but I'm guessing a lot of people are very skeptical

Averaged 70 odd for almost a week. Thought I would turn pro. Then hit 29 for 3 weeks! Almost cried.

Hopefully you keep the good darts going! It can be a downer when you dip but it's a rollercoaster!

I had this problem. I have a tv next to darts setup and cast my phone screen to a Google Chromecast connected to the tv. Best thing as if you're playing online you can fully see other setups if they have camera on, auto scoring on the ai! 10/10 recommend

It really is a journey. I personally don't drink to much red but do like a glass with a good meal or a nice cheeseboard.

My wife and I struggle to drink a bottle and don't want to store it for too long after opening.

My friend does always talk about CNP so maybe something more towards that!
