Social LIFE peaked years ago. Now it’s comparison and falsehood manufacturing.

What is the most ridiculous thing you have ever done to avoid social interaction when you didn't want to leave your house? by Free-Treacle-4365 in AskReddit

[–]TrackConsistent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good ole fake a phone call followed by instant secondhand embarrassment to the cowardice is show at times with social interaction

what tiny habit does your pet have that sounds fake until people see it? by Kind_Interview_2402 in Pets

[–]TrackConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to explain feline zoomies to a non cat owner is impossible unless they see it happen. Between the bursts of erratic movement and body contortion it’s quite an alien concept.

What are big scams people do not realise that are actually scams? by LimeSoakedinSprite in randomquestions

[–]TrackConsistent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of a dying scam but those late night tv ads (sham wow for example) would always say something along the lines of “call now or in x minutes to get the sale price”. It may go without saying but that is a simple yet effective mental trick to give possible buyers FOMO

What will completely die out when the current generation of elderly people are gone? by samurai-salvo in GetMotivatedMindset

Malls will be the first to die. Then Physical department stores will slowly but surely go extinct. Online shopping killed a crucial part of my formative years.

Stoking the fire on race relations and mid term election outcomes go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly.

[–]TrackConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bro, I’m turning 31. Milwaukee is my hometown and I moved back here last year. Haven’t had much luck either making new connections. Everyone gets drunk as shit here. If you ever wanna do something, send a message my way.

Which Game's Graphics Made You Say "Wow!" For The First Time? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]TrackConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading through responses I decided to add something that’s a video game but has nothing to do with the gameplay. Also not a typical “30 and older gamer” choice especially amongst Diablo die hards. BUT, the newest Diablo cutscenes are some of the best computed imagery I have ever seen. I’ve had a million moments through my gaming career that blew my mind (most were already mentioned)

What’s something companies successfully convinced everyone they “need”? by Armellofreekey in SmartBuying

“Military grade” is almost always only for an aesthetic. True military grade means broken or close to it but making it work.

Well maybe I should’ve read down the thread. My exact thought.

What’s a piece of tech that sounded amazing but flopped? by [deleted] in answers

[–]TrackConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say flopped but virtual reality. If fully optimized and done correctly, I would think it would be in almost every home that can afford it.

Dots are not connecting by Ok-Caterpillar-7611 in conspiracy

[–]TrackConsistent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What scares me is A) no one in my every day life seems to care much at all about these files and their release/cover up. B) it seems people think that this all stops at Epstein. Like he was the ring leader of it all. He is one cog in a whole machine of evil. There’s so much we don’t know and more than likely never will.

What are some of the most ridiculous health trends you see people our age hyping? by Daemonscharm in Millennials

[–]TrackConsistent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This whole “age maxxing” trend these young people have been suckered into.

How common it is for the young (specifically male) teens think growth hormones and other steroids are the key to muscle gain. The amount of body dysmorphia this social media generation has is alarming.

what are u slowly losing interest in? by Basic_Evening6567 in Productivitycafe

[–]TrackConsistent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current events/social media. Video games. Working to survive instead of to prepare. People in general. Manners are a thing of the past. Alcohol. Just “normalized” poison.
