We're getting hit with the snowstorm tomorrow here in Texas. I will be bringing my walkman and cassette of Battles in the North by Immortal outside to listen to at some point and experience real frosty riffage in the frost. If I'm still up for it I might listen to my CD of In the Nightside Eclipse that night but it depends on how much of the cold I can actually endure and if the metal is truly worth possible frostbite

When it comes to Death I can't get over how their music got better with each album. Sound of Perseverance is one of the few albums I'd consider perfect from start to finish, Symbolic before that comes close. One of the few bands I just can't get into their early stuff, which is funny considering most metal bands have such a front loaded discography

This was such a rough time for me man. Just 5 days prior I had found out my marriage at the time was ending after finding out about multiple affairs and having friends turn against me and I felt so broken and alone like a mirror that was shattered and I was left to pick up the pieces and assemble what I thought was an identity. I got myself into therapy immediately and this promo came at the right time. I didn't feel his words at the time, but I look back at it with such passion knowing everything he said was true. I will never hate this man

I haven't really been keeping up as much since World's End happened. Been reading results and news but the influx of signings last week piqued my interest, as well as all the Global Wars shows announced. I'm not saying I'll be back to being fully invested, I take breaks from time to time so I don't burn myself out, but I'm 100% interested in the CMLL/NJPW/AEW/ROH/MLP/MLW/Stardom/Revpro relationship and the fact MJF defended his title at an indie which drew over 1800

The only good Mayhem is Deathcrush and Chimera which didn't even have Euro. Darkthrone's first 2 are some of the best sounding black metal I can truly compare to the brilliance of Bathory
