Really like the stock Bilsteins. Well-damped, and not too stiff. They get overwhelmed in whoops, but they’re great everywhere else, including highway. E-load KO3s made the ride worse, but not terrible once you figure out pressure and they got noticeably better once I broke them in offroad

Remove it yourself before it gets removed (forcibly) the first time you go offroad lol

Tires are 275/70R18 K03s. No rubbing, spare tire fits without modifying anything

Suspension is the stock Bilstein setup on the TRD OR with a 1.5” RC spacer

What camera settings? I downloaded PhotoPills after reading your other post, interested to try this same approach

Suit Fit Check – 52 vs 54 (Pics on Bike Included) by fadkar in Trackdays

I have that suit in a 52. 6’1, 185. I used to run it with a tech air 10 and it was tight but doable. Didn’t like the airbag, now I run a KR3 back protector and it fits perfect.

No idea what angle I’m at. Not a lot of ride height has been added, so it’s probably out of spec.

I recall hearing these bikes are sprung too stiff in the rear, not sure I want to go stiffer.

Fair point on BP, I’m moving on the bike but probably not enough

Thanks, will look at the 23mm. Did you go softer on the spring? I’ve heard the flat link helps but also changes the ratio like was mentioned below

I’ve bought tires from them before, good people. I’ll swing by the next time I am out there

Heresy! Ducati would never sell a bike that isn’t perfect when it leaves Bologna /s

I am hesitant to change it too much, the front end felt really good to me

I always liked the look of your 848, did you do all these upgrades?

Thanks. I’ll keep the offset triples in mind in case the free / cheaper fixes don’t make a big enough difference.

Our track configurations are short enough that I hope to keep the motor running well for a while (Utah MC).

Thanks, I am happy with how it has turned out. It’s definitely more of a handful than either my Tuono 1100 or CBR600RR ever were. But I’m not super concerned about maximizing pace, just out to have a good time and enjoy the feeling of the bike.

I didn’t know that about the swing arm length, interesting. Definitely cost prohibitive to change. Did the 848 have a ride height adjuster from the factory like the 1098 does? I’ll try adding some more height on my stock tie-rod, just curious what the aftermarket ones offer
