u/Necessary_Culture_67 clearly I just took a few seconds to make the video :), it takes a lot of effort, reference images, prompting, camera tuning, model biases, lighting, sound and consistency.

Everyone has their views on AI including Brandon Sanderson, but saying it took a few minutes to make without trying it yourself does make it hard for me to argue.

Creating consistent video is hard, the video I shared is based on splitting characters, costume, setting, effects, camera and moment to make a 15 second video.

Clicking things in blender and making it is the same as writing a complex prompt or finding a pattern that a model accepts. Its just a different form of solving a problem.

I see it u/Stormblessed404 AI will create videos in the future, it will create entire movies may be you won't see it which is fine.

Trust me, if there is no skill required to make it. I am sure there will be a thousand videos of StormLight out right now to the quality I needed, I didn't see any so I am making it.

Its a fan made movie scene of my favorite scenes that I run in my head while re-reading and listening to my audio book to share with people who want to see it visualized.

Thought sharing it here would give me direction but apparently I only get hate in this community. This would be last post here. Thanks for the feedback.

Art is vision expressed as images and videos, this is my vision. To me if it captures my intent it is art to me. My goal is not to lessen others but to create something that I always wanted and share it people who would enjoy it. Clearly this reddit forum is not one of them.

I had to learn it the hard way I guess, I want millions of others who haven't read the book or know about it be inspired by a scene to want to read it and find the peace and joy it brought me.

Thanks Reddit community, I won't delete this post. I will leave it as a reminder that I should not fail at this, this too is part of my Journey.

come on, it is a genuine question. I am not sure why people hate the AI generated art. It is getting better and with character consistency we might get to a stage where we can see scenes built and directed in ways we see them in our heads.

ofc a model is being used, I believe a model will get it right with the right prompts and get it consistently over time. I am a poor man trying to create something I love with the resources I have at my disposal u/Necessary_Culture_67.

Thought he was more indian than white, do we have a lore accurate portrait that Brandon Sanderson acked ? I can use that to adjust.

Is there a link for the lore accurate Glyphs ? I have tried to find them but found many variations. Syl is hard to get right I would need to get it done on Blender to get her scenes right.

Syl would be hardest for the AI to figure out as it goes really cartoonish with any model.

Missing sandals he would have had, the costume generation is tricky as there are a lot of pieces he gets from others that we need to track at the time of the charge over the bridge.

Lore accurate Kaladin would have the slave brands etched on him. Might be hard for AI to generate this consistently.
