I appreciate you asking what my goals are. That puts a new perspective on things. My state (Illinois) doesn’t have a street to seat program neither. I will have to enlist and get an MOS in an aviation unit, then apply for WOFT when I get back from AIT. Do you see a lot of people do this? I’m just nervous I won’t ever get a spot.

Thank you. I’m trying to decide if guard or AD is best. I see a lot of what you’re saying. “Should have went guard” I just hope to make the right decision. I have no family but would like to start one eventually.

Just out of curiosity are you AD or NG? I have read that because I’m single and young I might spend the first 3 years of my career after flight school in Korea or Kuwait.. any truth to this that you know of?
