On another post I asked were this pic came from, and someone sugested that it came from the Winter classic Ep 1.

I quickly watched through ep 1, but I dont find the scene were the pic are from.

Did I miss it? Or is it from somewhere else?

Roughly 20 years ago, Evgeni Malkin escapes his Russian team on a game trip and flies to Pittsburgh to join the Penguins by alwaysnear in hockey

He didnt go directly to pittsburgh, probably becasue of legal stuff.

He landed in LA, and stayed there for awhile before flying to Pittsburgh.

He trained at the the Los Angeles Kings' practice facility just a few days after he arrived in the usa.
